After an unforgettable 10th edition, we are delighted to announce the 11th edition of our traditional International Women’s Weightlifting Tournament in Lyon!

Driven by the desire to keep improving an event that means so much to us, we have carefully refined our organization to welcome athletes in the best possible conditions and to showcase women’s weightlifting throughout this exceptional day.

More than ever, this tournament offers a unique opportunity to celebrate outstanding athletes and share powerful, inspiring moments together.

Guided by values of solidarity, dedication and self-improvement, these women embody the determination, discipline and perseverance that define our sport every day.

Tournament History

• 2014: First women’s tournament, allowing athletes from the region to express their talent.
• 2015: Opening of invitations, victory of Anaïs Michel, 2017 European champion.
• 2018: Participation of 5 countries and 22 clubs.
• 2019: Second consecutive victory for Vicky Graillot.
• 2020: Participation of Aureleny Ferreira Nunes from Istres Sport.
• 2022: 7th post-COVID edition.
• 2023: Celebration of the club’s 130th anniversary.
• 2025: Celebration of the 10th edition.

2026 Edition

• International: Participation of foreign delegations.
• National: Qualifying competition for France with the presence of the best French athletes.

Reward 

• International club: Maximum 5 athletes per club.
